Burying our intentions in the heart of our She-Bear
Last weekend I was blessed to be able to share the afternoon with women who are kick-starting an initiative for natural, affordable homes built for women by women. They are called She-Bear Construction.
I was invited to do a workshop at their fundraising event on Sunday along with the beautiful and talented musician Marie Como.
The workshop I led was called “House of the Heart” where we journaled and released old storied and created the house of our heart to contain our new story. Then we collaged on to the ‘She Bear’ painting I have been working on-absolutely magical! The painting is almost finished, just a few more things to add and touch up.
“Purpose, light, rejuvenation, freedom, empowerment, self-sufficient, warmth, peace, protection, comfortable, prosperity, and love” are the words that were incorporated to the piece. The wishes, hopes, and intentions blooming for this initiative..
Here are a few more pictures from our day. Did I mention it is on a beautiful goat farm on the Kingston Peninsula? How could I not practice some photography while I was there. 🙂
